AIMP 3.00.985 is a reliable, powerful and free audio cum multimedia player. It looks like winamp media player so you can get used to of it. It includes a visualization window to display rhythmic visual effects, an 18-band equalizer, and a playlist editor to organize your audio files.

It not only plays music AIMP features three extra utilities which also enable you to record any sound on your computer, convert audio files from one format to another and view or edit tags. AIMP is based on the well-known audio engine BASS, so it's easy to connect new plug-ins (from the plug-in library included in the program) and expand the player's functionality.

In this version Player is able to use WASAPI for outputting on Windows 8, it plays short files completely, information about bit rate for some radio stations, Windows Explorer display data from tags of file in WMA Lossless format after they've been edited by AIMP, File mark, display in playlist when AIMP2 skin is used and many others. It works with multiple playlists.

It allows creation of bookmarks and also has a playback queue. It plays Crystal-clear sound with technology of reproduction essentially differs from Winamp and WMP. It comes with Sensitive equalizer for higher sound quality.
