It happens to those also who use the Internet for sharing as these malicious programs are now designed to attack via the internet also if anyone uses a networked drive or disk.
Opening every attachment, even not knowing the sender, is yet another very popular way for malware attacks.
It is a very common practice for any user to open and read every mail in their inbox and those who crafted this malware by keeping this habit of users in mind.
Sometimes this spyware or viruses replicates themselves with a known person’s Id and users eagerly open and download that attachment and naively give these viruses a window to attack the PC.
