When looking at 2020 we expect many technological changes. Many sectors will rely on technology and most of these sectors will substitute human labor with technology. Therefore among the many developments, we expect in the year 2020 the main focus will be on the maximization of profits.

Self-driving cars will make driving safer

Self-driven cars have been tested in the past. However, they have had many accidents. This is about to end and through AI the self-driven cars will reduce traffic-related deaths as well as bringing lifestyle changes. Through these changes, people will have time and desired comfort.

At least 5% of glasses will be connected to the internet

Very soon many people will have an internet connection to their glasses. Through this technology, those wearing glasses will have internet access. This will enable people to control their interface with their vision through eye-tracking technology. The technology has already been introduced by Google through the Google Glass and the company is already working to connect contact lenses and therefore full implementation is expected in 2020.

We will see a robotic pharmacist

Robots are already doing a great job, especially in the manufacturing sector. However, we expect to see a robot pharmacist in 2020. Developments are already being made towards the same and that will be a massive invention.

States will adopt crypto-currencies

Block-chain technology has become a massive hit in the world over the last few years. In 2020 we expect some controls will be using a digital currency in addition to fiat currencies. Many central banks are already working towards the implementation of the same. In addition, blockchain technology will bring transparency in many sectors since the technology is very secure and free from hacking.
